Not happening in the USA.

We should make stickied threads of all the actual confirmed price increases to avoid the mass panic.

Such as... the real one of 10% across Canada on April 1st.

Isn't this the 10,000 th post of a rumored price increase since Jan 1 09. So does that make a SS Submariner Date about a $100,000.00. Now.

Price to buy goes up tomorrow for all us lucky California residents. Oh wait, that's just a 1% sales tax increase. Sweet...the state is bankrupt, budget is out of control, unemployment is over 10%, nobody is buying anything and they want to increase sales tax to over 9%. Brilliant!!!

Didn't anybody here read any of the press releases from BaselWorld 09???

Starting next month, Rolex will discontinue the use of their old 904L case material and start using their newest alloy, Unobtainium.

I heard that mentioned somewhere too, but not that it would replace 904L entirely. I thought it [the new stuff] was only going to be used on certain parts.

Nah, I doubt there will be a price increase in the US tomorrow. They just did their last increase in the US recently. Wasn't it September or October of last year?

Wouldn't we really HATE to see, sorry dislike any form of price increase during these tough economic times.

I picked up a few 90's-200's subs and GMT's simply because I don't like the new models much.

I think Rolex should LOWER their prices 10%, they are going to offer the discount anyway. As discussed in the "beverly hills RSC closing" thread, these watches are getting too expensive, and there is no middle ground everything is just expensive.

it's 10% in RDV effective today... but that is the greatest sales ploy... because they will give you "preincrease price"

A BB manager here said that their store usually knows about a price increase a month in advance. I asked him to give me a heads up.
