That's enough back and forth from the pair of you....

Come on now... I dont think someone needs to play on a NFL line to wear this beauty. Im a perfect example, Im 5'5" tall, and this watch fits me like a glove! Look at my Daytona pic, def too small for me, now look at the DSSD pic.

You arms are huge!!! so it looks perfect on you... & I am not being funny, most people are not that big... I really wasn't referring to height as much as being a "big" guy, with my NFL comment... really, it looks right on you...

Awesome. I'm envious of your DSSD. I'm a little taller but a more on the "svelte" side so the Deep Sea will look a bit bigger on me. Don't care though...It's a great tool watch and I'm a diver so...that's how I'm rationalizing it

Wow there tiny, work out ever? You may be 5'5" but with arms like Popeye the DSSD looks like a 39mm watch on you. Nice collection of watches you have.

I'm not looking to start trouble, actually I apologize if I got a little heated. I know people have every right to have an opinion, but they shouldn't talk trash (DSSD is cartoonishly large) when they don't even own the watch.

Thanks! The watch is absolutely AWESOME! The best purchase I've made in a long time. I get my ink done here in Chicago. I love it, but it's starting to get pricey. Could've bought my Panerai 312, I'm dying to get, instead of all the ink.

this is coming from 4 previous rolex's.. DJ, Milgauss, SubC, GMT2c...

If you want to keep going then do it. Don't let work stop you from doing something you want to do. Lucky enough for me, I have a profession that accepts tattoos and I deal with the public and I'm in the public eye all day.

I seriously considered selling my DSSD for a New green Sub, in fact i had two offers for it. however withdrew it from sale. Glad i did! Don't plan to ever sell it. Guess will save up for the new sub

I wear my DSSD every day and love every minute of it. I think it is the best looking Rolex out.

Thanks for the DSSD v Exp II input guys. I guess I'll just have to wait until the Exp II comes outs to see if it's for me or not. At present I'm leaning more towards flipping the DSSD. I do love it but would like a more pratical watch, I only wear the DSSD on weekends as it doesn't fit under most of my shirt cuffs. Even though the Exp II is 42mm I'm assuming it will be a lot slimmer than the DSSD.
Thanks again Mike |

I have never really thought about the Explorer as a watch I'd like to add to my collection. However, this new Explorer II is very nice indeed. I can't wait to see one. I think it could be my next Rolex.
I wouldn't swap my Deepsea for an Explorer II but I can definately see the appeal. As many have already said, try the watch on, take your Deepsea with you and put them next to each other...you will know which one. Good luck. |

In any case, I'm certain of two things: 1) I am not an NFL lineman. 2) If the DSSD and other large watches are out of style 20 years from now, I'll still be wearing mine. |

I have to agree i think it may be more the depth than the circumference plus to much going on the dial and rings for my liking. Are dying to see the EXP II up close and see if i'd hate that oversized orange hand as much as i think i would.

I don't own one, but I did try on a buddy's last week, and he has the same size wrist as I do..about 6.75. Honestly, I found it surprisingly comfortable and thought it looked awesome.

I had the DSSD and let it go...it was too chunky on my wrist.... I'll take the new Explorer II all day long. |
