Absolutely amazing to me as well! I've never had any negative experiences like that. Maybe my vision needs checking!!

Get it done asap

Like you, this would REALLY bother me. Once you know it's there it is all you will see when you look at the watch.
Bite the bullet and send it in. Will make you love it even more once you get it back.

Zoom in close enough and you might discover plenty wayward particles....

Had a problem with a long piece of dust on an Omega Seamaster but thought it wouldn't happen on a Rolex. On my second Seamaster because the first one started fogging up..

Here's better advice..... My meteorite Daytona had a small smudge under the crystal near the edge. Near as we can tell it was white grease that is used to lube the gasket. Just a TINY amount squirted out and was visible. My AD suggested I wait and deal with it since it is so very minor. BUT one month shy of the 2 year warranty I brought it in and they sent it off and got it fixed. The idea being that when they open it up the have to put it all back together and would do a cursory lubrication and checkup on the movement etc. So I get a free checkup.

Why have them open it up when it is a month old? Wait until it might need a service anyway and send it in for free.

That worked out just fine for me.

Dust happens!

A few times to me:

I had it on a GMTIIc - service centre apologised on behalf of the mother company and promptly fixed it, no hassle

Also on a Glashutte - AD called Glashutte and they said it is not their problem

Also on a Glycine - I decided to live with it.....

On an Orient 300m diver - AD sent the watch back to the factory to have it fixed

Once saw a Speedy at my AD where the hands looked like they were growing hair!! Pointed it out to the AD and they sent it back. Even though I bought a different Speedy then, they kept me informed on the progress of fixing the "dirty" watch How is that for service!!

Just shows that often the quality of the customer service makes up for the lack in quality control

Yep. Rolex (U.K) in St.James Square, London.
There's a service desk there open 9-5pm. My Ceramic bezel was a little out of line and it bugged me big time. So I went there, (work in London so easy for me), and they realigned it while I waited!

They also said that if I couldn't wait they'd have it delivered to me within a day or so. Get down to London!!

4-6 weeks???
