Your wrist and the handsome 15400 are matching perfectly, but not in your eyes perhaps. Nothing wrong to get rid of it if you are not convinced, and move on to 15202 or something else!

as for the comments on your 111 and size, i agree with what you're saying about millimeters not being the most important thing when comparing the two watches.

I completely understand what you are going through. Sometimes it might also a be bit of insecurity, I have experienced it in the past with some pieces. I would see them on someone else and when I look at how it looks on me, something falls short. Might be my obsession with new pieces once am over with the one I was looking for, and I has lost its luster. I personally think that it looks good on you, and that collection is great. Take a step back, enjoy your pieces and put out watches for a bit. I know its hard but that is the way to go. My 2 cents.

I think it look awkward when you wear it past the bump on your wrist. Also, take a picture from further away so we can get a better perspective. The 15400 looks huge up close.

I think the 15400 looks great on your wrist and even though it's got a somewhat large case it's still relatively thin and certainly can be worn as a dress watch or with a dress shirt, suit jacket, etc.

That said I tried on the 15400, 15300 and 15202 when looking to purchase a RO. I have a relatively small wrist but own and wear larger watches such as an Omega ProPlof, PAM 232, GO Navigator Date, etc.

I found that the 15400 was too big for my tastes. I felt the dial and case were a little too large for the movement and original design DNA. I also wasn't a fan of the date window coming closer to the center of the dial. I do appreciate the increased consumer demand for larger watches but I find I'm more of a traditionalist.

I did like the 15300 more than the 15400 as the size was a better fit for me personally and more akin to the original RO design. I most likely would have purchased this watch if I hadn't also had the opportunity to try on and compare this watch to the 15202 Jumbo. The Jumbo was absolutely perfect! The updated dial with the petit tapestry dial was sharp and elegant. The applied AP logo at 6 o'clock brought back memories of the the original A series. The blue dial shifted its color from dark blue to lighter blue to black depending on the light. The thinness of the case and bracelet made this watch feel like an elegant, more sophisticated sibling. Finally the absolutely amazing 2121 calib movement was the final nail in the coffin. Despite the significant cost differential once I laid eyes and hands on the 15202 it was only a matter of time before I pulled the trigger.

There's no question that the 15400 is the new updated classic to the 15300 and by all means is a fantastic watch with a modern, reliable movement that makes for a great daily wearer. It has much of the DNA that made the RO a classic for the last 40 years.

The 15202 is "the" classic RO watch IMHO. It retains much and many of the design elements of the original such as the 39mm ultra thin case, no seconds hand, petit tapestry dial, AP at 6p, 2121 movement, etc. etc. There are however downsides - no seconds hand, no quick change date, less power reserve, non screw down crown, almost $6K price differential to name a few.

In the end it's nice to have choices and the peace of mind knowing you can't make a bad choice when choosing a RO.

Apologize for the ramblings but there's a lot to consider and think about when looking at these watches.
