I love what he said about Patek Philippe. I thought it was funny

Even the Rolex Just Date. That's actually quite clever.

Yes, we should live our own lives.
Paraphrasing what I read somewhere:

When you're 20, you think everyone is thinking or talking about you
When you're 40, you'd don't give a damn what anyone thinks or says about you
When you're 60, you realize no one was ever really thinking or talking about you...
Ha! Very good!

Business Insider is Buzzfeed of finance world.

Written to generate clicks. The more the better, the more polarizing the better. Still, people for it. I have a friend on FB who keeps posting 3-4 BI articles per day. So annoying. I have a Bloomberg terminal so it is amusing, but that's about it.

Hopefully people have heard of/seen the satirical GS elevator stuff before. It was in the news a while back when it first came under the national spotlight. It does certainly have some funny lines. I replied to the satirical tweet with a joke. I don't think anyone's worried about being "serious". Maybe my deadpan humor went over some heads

I wonder what they say when they see me zipping by in my Toyota mini-van with my Rolex resting on the door sill?

I own a few Rolexes and I drive a minivan. I guess I look like I have a little money and I talk about my kid all the time.
