Whats with all the hate on Rolex?

Some haters just don't get Rolex. Me I just ignore them. I am happy with my choice of brand and in a forum that loves Rolex then that is all that matters.

This is actually funny to read. "its a shitty watch" That's hysterical. AP and Patek's are no better than Rolex's in my opinion. It really all depends on the wearer. I don't like taking my Audemars Piguet in the water because I'm worried it would leak. On the other hand, I love taking my Rolex SubC in the water, and would do the same with any Rolex. Does that make my AP a "shitty watch". Wear that 2 Tone Rolex Sunburst Blue with pride. That thing is a beauty. I'd take that over my AP ROC which costs twice as much retail.

The AP is the watch that seems to be the VIP for overrated.

I wouldn't use the word hater but I was reluctant to purchase one for myself due to the fact I am in sales and feel like the sub (real or fake) is standard issue in my profession. Never doubting the quality of the product and brand, I did end up recently joining the club after being a watch collector for many years and lurking on this forum for a while.
