So if I were to buy one from them, would my warranty card still be valid at any Tudor AD? It still has the full serial # and all matching paperwork.

No. It does not come with a Tudor warranty. It comes with a Jomashop warranty. Their website explains this very clearly.

Interesting. Thanks for clarifying. Well, to be honest, the savings is pretty substantial. Also, an ETA 2824-2 isn't that complicated to work on, so any watchsmith can service it and ETA parts are readily available.

If it were the new, in-house movement then I'd definitely think twice and would definitely just wait to get one on the used market. I'm a good 6 months out from making any decisions on a purchase, so a lot can happen in between now and then. Buying one used still might make the most sense, anyway.

When you are ready to buy, the trusted sellers on this forum can get you one at as good or better discount than Joma...with a real warranty from Tudor. Not yet, but once full shipments begin, likely sooner than Joma will have them.

Very sage advice. There are indeed some great sellers here. Two thumbs up.

On a new release watch, that's as good as it will likely get...

Yes thats exactly what most AD do. Just take the sales tax out. Everytime i go in there thats all they ever offer me.

I guess i just like super popular new pieces.

I saw one on the for sale forum here today - with bracelet, unworn at a decent discount. The deals are out there; you only have to look.

Patience...give it a few months and you'll be picking these up for two grand on eBay. It's a great watch, and to each their own, I've just never been one for having to be the first kid on the block. I'd rather save my money and take a nice vacation
