Tudor Black Bay (Black)

Visited two AD's earlier, two said no discount, one was willing to discount slightly

If anyone has one, has anyone received any discount?

I was also offered some tudor goodies from one AD, has anyone had any tudor goodies?

I was offered a cap, a notepad & tie pin but personally I would have no use for any of the items.

Best I could do was to get them to pick up the sales tax....

On a new release watch, that's as good as it will likely get...

Wearing it again today.

In the UK, the gbp price is 2,330

I think 10% is achievable in one AD which would equate to 2100

The price will most likely come down in a few months but right now it's a hot ticket item. Just look at all of the threads on this forum.

They are better in person. Pictures don't do it justice. I took a look at one at an AD before I bought one from a trusted friend.

Can't tell you in case you get there first! It has to be ordered in but should be in within a week of placing the order

I'm not a fan of the pelagos but have yet to try it on. BBB for me it will be

I was offered the BB red at another dealer several months ago for 1800 if I remember correctly which was £530 off list price which was a good deal but I didn't go ahead with it at the time.

Man, that watch is an absolute stunner! I've heard that AD's are not moving on that at all. Tried Mayor's and they laughed at me.

I'm not so sure the price will come down anytime soon especially if buying from AD as the red and blue are still selling for the same price!

Northern Europe, retails 3000EUR w/ bracelet, 15% discount, 24% VAT off, so just a drop over 2000EUR. Very limited availability currently, should be available "freely" early December.

If Rolex is smart, which they are, they will probably limit the supply to drive the price up. They seem to do this with every hot watch. BLNR and Deep Blue just to name a couple. Since I just bought one, I hope they drive the price up. 😎

Right now the blue and red are on sale at Jomashop for $2,795 with bracelet or $2,400 with strap. Full warranty, boxes, papers, and no sales tax. Free shipping under $5k. There's no reason why this watch won't also be discounted at the next sale they offer. This is Tudor, not Rolex. They are going after a different market who doesn't appreciate those asinine games that Rolex plays on their side. Way better strategy. At the end of the day, Rolex still benefits as the parent, but the kiddo has free reign to market how they want to.

My AD takes really good care of me, I even got a nice discount on the north flag when I pre-ordered. Pretty sure I got the 1st NF in the states or at least this region

Well, but, Joma is a gray market dealer, so this isn't Tudor marketing the way they want, it's Joma. They discount Rolex as well, but at a very low pct, 4-5% usually. Why, so low, because that's enough to attract some buyers. The Joma Tudor discount on the BBR is 18% because that's where they need to be. For reference, they sell the Omega Speedy pro at 26% off. It's simply Joma selling their "non authorized" watches at whatever they can. It's also a Joma warranty, not the manufacturers. Not a bad place to buy from necessarily, but this is not an example of Tudor doing anything with their pricing or marketing as Joma is not a Tudor AD.

Ah, good point. Sort of like Pacific Time and Atlantic Time back in the early 2000s?

So if I were to buy one from them, would my warranty card still be valid at any Tudor AD? It still has the full serial # and all matching paperwork.
