I prefer the look of the Red/Blue but I obtained the all the inserts for my 16700, 16760 & 16710 years ago when they were not so ridiculously priced. I have seen no issues from swapping these out over time. Initially I was hesitant to change the inserts out, but after doing it once, I found that it was very easy.

Vote for Pepsi for me. Very strangely it's just a look I remember growing up in the 1970's (not that I knew a lot about what the watch was at that time) and so just associate the Pepsi bezel with the watch.

I had a GMT with the black bezel, thought it would look better with the Pepsi So put one on it and never took to it so swamped it back to the black one.
On that basis I voted black. |

Pepsi vs Black Bezel Insert Poll
Got both love both ... That's the beauty of the GMT, 1 watch 2 completely different looks...

Pepsi and Coke are my favorites. Many other watches have a black bezel, no need for it on the GMT.

I like both and switch when the urge strikes me. I do not think black when I think sub, because my bezel insert is blue!

Pepsi GMT makes a nice change from black bezel GMTs and Subs etc! Gotta have one in the collection!

Coke is my favorite, but from your two choices I'd go with black.

When I see a black bezel, I have a great proclivity to associate with a Sub or SD. I think the bi-colored bezel adds distinction to the watch.

Every time I had a black insert in mine, people would ask me it it was a sub.

I haven't yet. I just learned it very recently myself and just practiced taking bezel off and putting back on. Still trying to read up more on how often one can swap without it affecting bezel (warp or fit?) and insert (sounds like it can start to stretch?). Wondering at what point either starts to get compromised.

Pepsi or Coke. I like the black but it makes the watch look more like a Sub

If it itches you, why not try? You can always go back to black later.
To me, the more colours, the sooner I get tired of the optics of the watch. This is why I voted black: |
