If that is the case and its a parody, it’s brilliantly executed My signature says it all, I signed onto the 16710 stick dial hype, should I hide in a corner 037?

I’ve never read so much rubbish.
6 GMT’s here, two with stick dials. One of which was fitted by RSC during a dial replacement last year. Anyone who falls for stick dial talk is a sucker. |

wow,
this has got to be the most hypebeast BS post of all time its a a 12 year production run! I have a GMT IIc LN, and am glad it was discontinued so its "rare" but this variant BS is reaching... nicely composed post but IMHO its crapola |

This clearly justifies an inevitable $15k premium on "stick dial" GMT's in the near future

I'll pay 100K for one of those.
Some Rolex resellers behave like they live in LaLaLand.

This valuation and estimation of production is literally just speculation. Not only is the recommended price not realized in either listings or purchases, the “rarity” and production caps are far less scientific than they are arbitrary.
I see no added value, rarity, or collectibility on this one. True collectibility stems from established rarity on a pre-existing hype model that was otherwise not available (e.g. 2020 card Hulks retailed for only a month before discontinuation in 2020 due to Covid). In these cases there is an established premium in the market and demand, unlike this analysis and dial variant. This falls into the category of nuanced Rolex variation over time that is a standard feature of almost all Rolex sports models, and very few of them provide added value. Dial variation on what was ultimately the least-demand GMT really doesn’t add up to much, if anything at all.

Great info that is probably rather meaningless, never the less, well written.
