The GMT seems to have been held up somewhat by the movement problem, which is unfortunate, but I think I'd prefer that to having to get my watch repaired. I do wonder if the reason Tudor didn't introduce variations of the 58 at Basel is that they don't want to add more models until people can casually buy the one from the year before. Rolex's entire strategy this year feels a little placeholder-y. |

With that being said, I just didn't like it. The proportions are nice, it feels amazing on the wrist, but gilt on the bezel is a no from me. So my local AD might have it in stock, assuming they didn't have anyone get it yesterday/today. If anyone is interested it's in NL, Eindhoven Schaap en Citroen. |

I went to probably 10 - 15 ADs to get a 58 and not one had the bracelet in stock and only a couple had it on the NATO.
They do take a bit of work to get in the UK and there are waiting lists. Some quite long ... other ADs might get you one in a month. Just depends where you go. But none of the ADs I visited asked for a deposit. Although I probably would have given them one tbh

We have a regional chain headquartered in my town, I prefer to support local business. The local branch carries Rolex but not Tudor. I have been on the Rolex Pepsi list for a while and was told to expect a year. Saw a Tudor Pepsi in person 2 weeks ago (in the wild and was allowed to fondle) and thought that it would hold me over until a 'real' Pepsi came in for me to fondle (have yet to see one of those on the wild).
I called the local Rolex location: "we don't have enough room to support both Rolex and Tudor, sorry." With no offer to help me get one. Went to their website and called the closest location as the crow flies that is a stocking Tudor dealer (out of state). The salesperson said: no Tudor GMT, 6-8 weeks, 100% deposit if I wanted one. Called the closest stocking Tudor dealer in the chain IN my state (but further away than the one just mentioned): No Tudor GMT, 6-8 weeks, 10% deposit. But the sales lady said "why not ask your local location to get one?" Called the local location back who first said we dont carry Tudor. This saleswoman says: "We can get one, 6-8 weeks, 50% deposit. (all of these random percentages are all from the same chain of stores). THEN.... the NEXT DAY, the out of state location calls me back, says they just got one and it is mine for $3900 (plus tax) (I had not left my name on a list nor did I leave a deposit, he called me out of hustle). I am picking it up locally tomorrow. SO, the point of my story.....call around, be patient, be kind, be honest and know what you are willing to do and not do. Patience and perseverance are your best traits in this rabbit hole. |

It was funny to read this thread through....people were like "a waiting list, a deposit, for a tudor", fast forward a year and its "i've been on the list for 4 months and theres not a single one available in my country."

I ordered a BB58 on steel two days ago and was surprised the AD asked for 100% deposit. I was told I’ll have the watch within 2 months. They had just about every other model available in the display case, except for the GMT.

Got my BB 58 at AD today without getting on waiting list, basically they have 1 instock for some guy who put a deposit down since December. With couple of phone call from AD to the guy he decide to cancel it. Grab mine with a recent price bump of £60. Ask about GMT pepsi the AD got back with 3-4 months wait without any deposit or 100% deposit you will get your watch in 1 month.
