Admirable!. But you were still faced with the reality that the grey had to pay probably around 15.5K or more for that BLNR so you might have paid around 17-18K for it even if negociations went good. You got a nice volume discount at a grey wow what a purchase.

That is one hell of a collection in one beat. Could you please post a photo of it in proper fashion like no plastics showcase etc ?

Man aren´t those beauties ! Congratulations.

Um... You just bought a bunch of watches from a grey which means you paid more than MSRP for them because you aren't able to buy these watches from Rolex at or under MSRP...

That's basically anyone here.

Still happy for you.
It’s just reporting. I report the good and the bad. I’m fortunate in that I have the resources to act on my own timetable. Many members here need to resort to greys and I have a special skill set that allows me to get what I want on advantageous terms.

If a member here learns how to go into a grey well prepped, strategy in place and emerges with the watch they want on favourable terms, I’m advancing the mission of this place. We pass on knowledge in story form and that’s how I’ll put it out there.

There are misconceptions about the greys and I’m enabling others to cut through the nonsense and get the watch they want (now) at a price they can live with.

Happy buying all.

Just like I don’t subscribe to AD pandering, bundling and waiting for years. I just grabbed the moment and acted decisively.

This forums thrives on how to secure a hot stainless watch. I did it in one strike. Perhaps there are others may pick up a tip from a surgical strike.

Everybody has their own preferences. My approach ain’t for everybody.

That must have been one heck of a bonus that you got. Congrats X2.

I don't get a bonus here, but they make up for it with low pay and horrible working conditions. On the upside, I have time to peruse TRF.

I’m CEO of my own firm, and occasionally we’ll help a client in difficult circumstances. Many are really grateful and relieved that I’ve extracted from their difficulties.

I had no inkling that the Chairman had proposed that they furnish me with s bonus. I bought my watches and wrote a cheque putting 400 kids through school for a year. Books supplied and a school motorbike.

The point being that we should enjoy our watches but if you hand resources to a good agency, schools are made better and kids get a decent start.

I don’t see it as tooting your own horn. Most of us that purchase a watch post an incoming I don’t see how this is different. Very admirable and can’t wait to read the full story.

So big question is did you ACTUALLY want these watches or you trying to make some coin?

If your a CEO making big coin and sending 400 kids to school then I seriously don't see buying all of these at once would be a wise choice unless you genuinely wanted these watches.

I’d like to hear about the “advantageous” terms from a grey on these watches that sell themselves at high premiums

So I bought five Rolex SS models after a day of start stop start negotiation

A lot of judgement here. It’s too bad there is so much negativity in this world.

I enjoy Initial’s threads! Keep them coming.

Congrats!

The question to answer is how good of a deal was the purchase of all 5 against the combined MSRP of them; final paid cost was over or under combined MSRP?

What would be wrong with celebrating someone’s purchase with them and saving all the judgement?

Who cares if it was a good deal or a royal screwing. It’s his $

This is a watch forum. To celebrate watches. To show off watches. To talk about watches.

Maybe we should let the rest of the world celebrate negativity. There are plenty of negative pricks to go around.

Congratulations again

Not super interested in those kinds of negotiation tactics, but instead tell us your impression on the watches. Which one do you prefer and why?

In terms of size, seems like the Daytona would be the better fit for your wrist.
What do you think?

Starting to think the same thing. Originally I fell for it but the watches are shown in a very poor way you´d think they deserve better showcase here. After all he supposedly won the internet night purchase.

Congrats on the purchase but isn't this something that everyone can do with enough money, just throw it at a grey? I'm failing to see what is so special about this. And isn't asking for stuff on top part of any big purchase? I've never bought a vehicle or a bike without adding in random stuff from the dealer.

But congrats man, give us some updated pictures
