I don't think so
IMHO, 40 mm really is about perfect for the Sub.
In my case, however, I do prefer a bit more heft/thickness and I'm wearing my SeaDweller (4000) a lot more these days. It's the single best all-arounder in my collection. And I've been wearing Subs (and variations) for over 30 years. Also have 42 mm's and 44 mm's in the collection, including 42 mm Omega PO, 44 mm IWC Aquatimer and DSSD; none of these see anywhere near the wrist time of the 'Dweller.
