PM Daytona wears surprisingly bigger. Although the PM (WG, RG and PT) cases are technically 0.9mm larger than the SS and YG cases, it really wears a lot larger. The SS in my opinion is the perfect size for a 6.5"-7.0" wrist.

Congrats on scoring a Dayonta! The smaller case size is a top 3 reason the Daytona is my favorite and most wanted chrono

6-digit PM and SS bezels are the same diameter at 38.5x mm. PM cases are slightly larger with longer and balanced lugs, making them wear slightly larger. Currently the only PM case that isn't larger is the YG on full bracelet.

So, generally speaking, the PM Daytona wears closer to 40mm despite still being a 38.5x mm watch. And, the stainless Daytona wears more like a 39mm.

I don't see Daytona size increasing unless Rolex makes a larger movement to push the totalizers outward to match a larger dial and case. Since this is highly unlikely, the 4130 dictates the current Daytona overall size and appearance.

The PM (WG, RG and PT) Daytona measures as follows:
Case (diagonal from 10-4): 39.5mm
Case including crown: 43.0mm
Bezel: 38.4mm
Thickness: 12.35mm
Lug to lug: 47.46
