spoke to an SA and got the same message which kind of sucks because im on the list for 15450 and since practically all the 15550 for the year are gone and done, im probably going to be pushed back another year

I could care less about the rotor.

I just want the watches.

I mean, honestly, who cares about the rotor? Except maybe a certain group of die hard collectors (whom I respect), and a group of flippers looking to make a quick buck because the 50th rotor will likely yield a "valuation boost."

I just want the watches.

I think the 50th anniversary rotor pieces is special and it commemorates the birth of one of the most iconic/important watches. That being said, after reading that it’s rhodium coated for the SS variants, I’m starting to not mind missing out on it and just wait for the standard variant with the normal rose gold rotor? (Assuming it will go back to the old ways after 2022 without rhodium coating)

Spoke to my SA today. He said no one in the company has informed him about saving special pieces for new customers. In fact he has tons of well established customers who most likely won’t get a piece due to the demand.

Yup. It's all lip-service.

I was quoted the FHB statement today by my AP contact…..which I took to mean “don’t get your hopes up for anything this year”

Let’s see, but I’m hopeful things might chance once allocations start (which they absolutely have not yet…)
