Oh man, it is SOO much better. My wrist swells and contracts quite a bit and I can already tell the glide lock is going to make a world of difference. For so long I’ve had to trade off between a bracelet that is sometimes too loose and other times leaves imprints on my wrist because it’s too tight.

Here’s a few pics of the Zenith. It’s a great watch in its own right. Very impressed with the quality and attention to details. It also has the El Primero movement that beats at 5Hz and powers the quirky little seconds dial which makes a full pass every 10 seconds. Not really useful, but adds a bit of flare to the watch. Also the mechanism to change the integrated bracelet/strap is one of the nicest I’ve seen.

BUT……it doesn’t tug at my heart like the Submariner does. For me, the Zenith was a purchase, the Submariner was a journey.
