Ok so now he has listed the F series Sub for $3,100 on TZ (http://forums.timezone.com/index.php...90#msg_4963539), he states the condition is 95% in the post but when you message him he says that he rated below to be safe and the condition is more like 98%

As i said all his pictures are terrible, what do you guys think? Making a mistake buying from him or should i take his word on the 98% rating?

Sorry to bump a thread but just wanted to seek some advice on a F series 14060M. Looking to buy my first sub; not dead set on a 14060 vs 16110 but found a F series in good condition listing for 3650 on TZ. Seller says there is a small, almost imperceptible nick at the 32-33 minute mark. Fair price is 2012?

3650 is way high for such an old watch without service history.

Prices have gone way up on these...much higher than when this thread was born.

well I was slow to pull the trigger... mainly because I was waffling what exactly I am looking for in a watch...

from my reserach now (2012 listings) $3650 seemed like a reasonable price. I don't have to get the steal of a century, but I would like a fair price.. anyone else have any idea for ranges for 14060M prices?

I've looked off and on as well. Prices for excellent condition look closer to $4k from what I've seen. :-(

Wow, I paid $3600 for my F 14060M 2 liner last summer. Even that seemed like a fair deal, I didn't see any ever going for less than 3k, was I missing something???

EDIT: ahh, this thread started in 2010... never mind lol

Stuff that is bumped from a couple of years ago is just misleading.

I sold my LNIB M serial LV for $4380, how would that look today? I sold that is January 2011.

I think back to lots of stuff I sold that is now long discontinued, thousands less than todays market.

$3,000 is a decent deal, and you shouldn't expect to do a whole lot better.
This is a good or better price, IMO. I don't see many go for better prices.
