I would hope they don't increase the size anymore. I was looking at some 70s Daytonas on Madison avenue last week and it is funny how much they have increased in size over the years.

My wrists are not very large; If Daytonas get any bigger than they are now, I will have to wear it around my neck like Flavor Flav.

They will reform the design of the daytona and the deepsea... and many new models. The daytona will become, at least above 45 mm. and the deepsea will become around 50mm or above.

The daytona will whey above 200 grams, whith the SS, gold-case. and whith the platina-case above 250 grams. The deepsea will be above 250 whith SS-Gold-case and whith the platina-case abouve, or around 300 grams.

I, for one, (probaly the minority) would like to see it. I absolutely LOVE my EX II 42, I just think the 42 makes it the perfect size. I would also like to see some other changes made to it, but going to 42 I would consider an upgrade.

Given the Daytona is a top of the line sports watch, I would also like to see it follow some of the sizing increases. On a dress watch, something like 38-39mm is perfect, but 40mm on a sports watch is a tad small IMO. 41-42mm would both do well IMO.

I seriously doubt there will be any size difference on the Daytona.

I hope the size is never beefed up. I think it's perfect at 40mm and should be left alone.

i dont think that they will make the dial size any bigger. in the years to come they might make the case a bit bigger like the subc but no one knows but rolex. i think its nice the way it is right now, but if they beefed it up i wouldnt be oppose to that either

While I don't particularly need a 42mm Daytona , I like all the recent upgrades that Tolex has done ( sub C , new exp II , ceramic Daytona ) so I am pretty sure I will like it if there are updates.

Having said that I dont think 42mm is on the cards yet. I think , if anything , they will continue making the ceramic version of the other Daytona models first.

They should make a platinum Daytona.

I went to the AD and check the measurement in the weekend. The case measurement without the crown of the daytona is only 38mm not 40mm, I don't know why it is 40mm in the Rolex website. It looks much smaller than the GMT llC and the DJ ll in comparison.

I am of the firm belief that Rolex makes excellent sports watches but niche markets them even better. Given the rough times, they will continue to flow with the trend of larger watches. IMO there will be a larger Daytona soon.

To each his own, I guess, and it seems to take all kinds, but I hope when it come to Rolex watches that bamseladin is off his rocker.

I think I'm really set with the Rolex watches that I have, but I'd not like to see the line start resembling Invicta's finest.
