I doubt anyone could really 'call' this one - both watches are excellent pieces - best thing is to have both and rotate them. I do this with my 1675 and 1680 as Tudor 66 mentioned earlier.

For normal everyday wear Id say the subc, as its less blingy and attention grabbing than the GMTc and at times you really don't want people to notice your Rolex. Also the bezel on the subc can be used for timing things like for cooking and running and bathing.

GMTc for me. I find it slightly less sporty. Though I have owned both, I wore my GMTc as my primary work watch in the end.
