Sounds like the Deepsea ($12.25k), SD43 is $11.35k.

Did it have a red text to it?

Also finding any SS (not Milgauss!) on display is a rarity nowadays.
No red text that I recall.

About 99% of the time it is actually a Deepsea. Not sure why people ever say Sea-Dweller for the Deepsea. I know it's in the family but the first name in any configuration is always Deepsea. Not easy to confuse the two and very distinguishable, one is super bad ass with a dome crystal, the other has red text and a cyclops magnifier.

If anything, the SD43 can more easily be confused as a Submariner now.

That would be a DSSD then; DeepSea SeaDweller. 44MM bad-ass

Still a rarity to see this in today's market, however, it is one of the steel models that never picked up in the price surge.

Yes it had no cyclops so thanks for clarifying that it's a DSSD. I'm not that familiar with this family of watches from the Rolex brand. I have a GMT but never really got into the diver watch so thanks for clarifying the model.

I was debating picking it up but then once I put it on my wrist I realized it definitely was not for me. I have a medium sized wrist at 7.25 in and although the lug to lug width wasn't the biggest I've worn, the overall height of the case was just humongous and didn't quite work on my wrist. Then later I looked at the pricing and saw that it didn't really pick up in the price surge like you mentioned.

I hope by posting the availability someone who really wants it to appreciate and wear can get in there and pick it up.

BB in the South Bay at Del Amo mall is a great ask for Silva or Young!

Ben Bridge seems to be an honest AD who doesn't play games like so many others. They do get SS watches in on a regular basis. Last week they received a Root Beer that they put in the display case after calling their wait list with no takers. Of course it was sold within a day. There are a few other Rolex ADs in the Twin Cities but they are all game players and unnecessarily arrogant. I am a big fan of Bridges.
Yeah Mike is a good guy there.
