So I've got in touch with AP and they were impressively responsive. Provided them with all the photos I've taken and detailed information of my experience so far with the AD, who's still holding my money waiting for AP to get back to them.

I'm confident that AP will take of me given my situation and the experience I went through.

Thanks everybody for your input.

I bet they are.

The funny thing is that they actually told me "help us for us to be able to help" and asked me to send an email to AP saying that I got a defective watch.

I told them that I will send an email saying exactly what happened. And I now did that.

I'm buying from AP directly next time, or a trusted seller at least, like I always do.

Bummer the AD wasn't more helpful.

So I finally got my money back but they didn't refund the CC fees of $600.

I would still like to see AP go after them for what they did. Let's see how that goes.

I would email AP again about the cc charges. That's not right.

I cant believe Im actually reading this. AP will bend over backwards to take care of you. Make sure you are persistent. I complained once about a poutty douche-bag sales person and got a invitation shipped the next morning for a personal closed store shopping experience. Im not even on their list. You should definitely contact AP until you are beyond satisfied.

Well, I still haven't heard a word from AP since I provided them with all the details, which is quite disappointing to say the least.

How AP agreed to replace the watch for the AD while not even reaching me out is beyond me.

I just sent them a follow up email, explaining again what happened and how the AD is not refunding the whole amount. But at this point I'm not expecting much from from either party.

Yes, it's the only AD actually.

So AP's take on this is that the watch was in normal condition and that it was within the acceptable FC specifications; which is quite disappointing. I will take this the farthest I can with these guys; AP directly this time.

They offered me a desk clock to compensate my loss on the visa fees. What a joke.

Yeah that's a first timer, they probably knew it was damaged and thought if you keep them on you will notice much later and then they can say that the watch was fine when it came out of the shop...

Well since they are probably the ones responsible for the damage if AP doesn't take the watch back they're going to have to try and sell it so they don't want to clearly…

Yeah they're trying to make it look like it came that way from AP when it was probably bumped in their store by a client or salesperson

It's incredible that you don't get those 600$ back, scandalous I would even say

Well it depends on the desk clock, if a JLC Atmos go for it

Acceptable specifications? For the money they cost no way would I accept that..we pay a premium for the finishing on these watches and they should not come from the manufacture already banged up.
If I'm going to live with those notches it's only because I put them there.

If AP itself held to that and doesnt take care of you, I'd be done with the brand.
