I am glad you are getting it back too.

I regretted flipping a 114060 more than any other watch I have ever let go.

I too decided to pick up another to fill the void. Sadly, and I don't know why, but it was just not the same.

I think it is cool that you are getting the same one back. If I was able to get my original one back, I think it would have been better for me.

Rule #1 - Never flip a Sub.

Glad you have a chance to get reunited.

Well folks, the FedEx man was nice and early today. It was dropped off at my office at 8:30 this morning. I brought my tools into work and sized it, and it's already back on my wrist.

I don't have access to any photosharing sites from work, but I'll be sure to post some pictures tonight. Needless to say, I'm extremely happy it's back. I'm usually pretty pumped when Friday comes along, but this just makes it so much sweeter.

That is really great food for thought. I'm so glad you were able to get it back.

For anyone thinking of selling their first, I would give your watch to a friend to hold for 1 week and see if you go thru withdrawals...

I, for one, am going to remember not to ever do it for any reason, period!

I'm glad it worked out and you didn't have to cancel the wedding.

I have owed many watches but the 114060 may be my favorite. Glad you have it back.

Did something similar with an SD 16600 and really regretted it. Picked another...and another..and vowed I would not make that mistake ever again!

Awesome story. You lucked out there! Don't flip the wife, though. That is a far more costly habit. Well, depending on your taste in watches and women.

I flipped my Submariner for a Date model, and never looked back. If I were to re-acquire a 114060, it'd be really cool to get my same watch back down the line! Good stuff.
