The greatest concentration of Rolex's and other fince timepieces I have found was on a cruise ship. I spoted several I have never seen in public.

A Serti dial Sub, the silver one
A SS Daytona
A President with a all black dial w/ no numbers or markers
Tons of the tt Datejust with gold dial
20 or 30 ladies Datejusts
4 or 5 Submariners
Even a Thunderbird

Nice score!

Even the teaboys earn £100,000 a year in that place.

PS. Wanna buy my Gold Newman Daytona.

The best one-time location/event for a WIS I saw was at a Grand Prix of Monaco weekend in Monte Carlo. It was all there, and in quantity.

I hope the President had hands.

I travel on business A LOT and there seems to be a very high concentration of passengers sporting just about every model in the airports I frequent.

Shinjuku Station, Tokyo. 3.3 million people use the station every day in the heart of the office / financial district, and I can't even count how many Rolex watches I have seen through the station and on the trains leaving the station. Every kind, too, but the Submariner and Daytona are especially popular... even with women.

Other than that, maybe the Umeda area in Osaka... never seen so many Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes Maybach and etc. in one place (so I'd assume there are a lot of nice watches... )

Well, you absolutely can NOT see a concentration of Rollies in Independence, Missouri!

However, it is a wonderful place to live!

Been in NYC, London, Paris, Beverly Hills, Palm Beach, Tokyo, Bangkok but there is no place for a concentration of fine watches like Hong Kong. I am always just blown away by the number of very high end jewelry and watch stores.
I would bet that Dubai will some day rival Hong Kong for affluence; have not been there yet but my friends tell me it is amazing.

- agree 100%. Especially in the tourist shopping areas (Central, Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui), many Rolex shops and Rolex wearers can be seen. I have been to the other non-tourist parts of HK also (such as Tsuen Wan and around New Territories) and while Rolex is not as common as those areas mentioned above, it is still much more common than here in the Bay area and other cities in the US.

Not sure you mean watches on wrists or watches in shops. If it's shops, don't overlook Singapore. Massive concentration of good stuff there. MASSIVE

Their is also a cartier store with many watches on display, but not quite as many as the other two. If that isn't enough the Wynn is directly across from the fashion mall, with many AD's there too. Those watch stores are big too. My vote is for the Las Vegas Wynn and surrounding area. Also somewhere else on the strip may have it beat, but I doubt it.

Kuwait and all the Middle East GCC are crazy insane for high end watches. I've been to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain and Muscat.

Just got back from Q8 last month and I was able to handle FP Jornes, one of kind Gerald Gentas, every AP ROO configuration known, lots of VC, PP, Hublot...you name it....all in this very nice and tiny mall butted up to the JW Marriot. Only had to walk 20 feet to hit each store. FM, OP, IWC, Rolex...all just other brands to admire. They seem to specialize in the diamond encrusted GMT-II Ceramics...bleh.

2 Baby Blue Bentley Convertibles were sitting out front....along with a lime green Lamborghini....nothing special.

The money there is just sick thanks to those Petrodollars...

The hard thing about this question is that wealth doesn't universally lead to watch love. I know Beverly Hills is an affluent area but rich Americans don't all get into it. If you look at the global sales of Swiss watches and then the population pockets there I think you'd come close to guessing correctly.

The greatest watch love has to be Asia and the Middle East. I agree with the posts suggesting the Emirates-- Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc. Singapore and Hong Kong can't be far behind if they are at all.

Beverly Hills is also a great spot, as is Las Vegas, but the population is not as densely populated as some locations in Asia. Parts of Silicon Valley/San Francisco are also good, as I see numerous Rolexes daily, but again, the area is not as densely populated.

I was about to say the same thing. If you put that store at the center of a square mile it would probably rival anywhere else.

I agree with Monaco, assuming it is on the Grand Prix Sunday.
