Wide Boy from ... 1963 I think? One of the crispest I have, but a safe queen no more!

34mm. Yes. Doesn’t wear that small though, oddly enough.

I let my relatively new DD (compared to some of these) go this past year. Although interesting I much prefer the replacement double quick set. The '72 1803 was my first gold watch I purchased. On the other hand my dad's '60's gold Bulova and much older Tiffany gold pocket watch are still in my collection although not Rolex brand.

Early to mid 50’s Tudor
Mid 60’s Rolex
Both bought new by my father I believe.

This one i found in a drawer a couple of years ago, it’s incomplete but appears to be fairly early! My guess would be 1910’s-20’s

1964 Rolex date. I think it’s cool to think that when this watch was bought, it was actually used to tell the time, a true tool watch. Couldn’t just pull out your phone back then

My dad has that exact watch! I've never seen another until now.

1940 observatory SN 184XXX I bought for my wife. Runs 10 mins slow everyday. Sent it off to RSC in NYC and Switzerland. they said they couldn’t work on it. Not sure what to do with it, but it has a gorgeous copper glow:

If no one can fix it, I'd adjust it the 10 min whenever I decided to wear it..!
An interesting piece...

Hot damn!

If I had one of those I would DAILY it :D

Take care of that beauty!

I hope Rolex brings back the Gold Datejust one day.

For a solid gold watch below the price point of a DD36, it would be awesome.

That is really cool. While everyone wants a Daytona, I really want a 34mm OP. I love the white dial one and the olive dial one.

I just don’t know if I should buy another watch because my intent was to be a one watch guy when I bought my Datejust last October.

Argh, first would problems

Anyway, super cool watch. Enjoy it!
