I like the blue BB58 personally; between that and the Royal Day-Date those are the two in which I'd be interested. In general Tudor isn't as interesting as Rolex to me but I could see owning one of those two.

More hate for the brand than I imagined in here. They make a wonderful watch. I had a black bay bronze as well but wasn’t wearing it much so my buddy grabbed it as he loved it. It was beautiful and kept amazing time.

Mostly from people who wear very very thick Rolex tinted lenses. Their loss, not ours

Tudor is doing some great things and foe the price point they’re probably better than Rolex. But side by side there’s no comparison in quality to me. I’ve tried hard to keep a Tudor in the stable and they just end up sitting and bring let go of.

Couldn’t agree more. I got the original BB58, then the Submariner. Both really are great to wear.

I would say for with the exception of the Explorer (and maybe the BLRO), I would generally be more interested in other brands, Tudor, Omega, JLC. The BB58 blue is really the only Tudor that catches my interest though, maybe the black one too, though I have tried it on and it didn't wow me like I thought it would.

I have zero desire for a 41mm Submariner or OP.

I find Tudor very appealing, but not in a way that takes away my interest in Rolex. I wasn’t moved to buy a Tudor until the Black Bay 58 in the blue dial came out. One day I looked at their webpage, saw that model and was instantly drawn to it...a fine rendering of the classic dive watch.

I managed to resist temptation for a few months, but that crumbled a couple of weeks ago when I had the unexpected opportunity to buy one...and did.

It’s superb.

I think the brand holds a lot of promise.

I like the brand, I have the GMT.

I have a love/hate relationship with my GMT, I like wearing it, I use it mainly for travelling but at the same time I hate wearing it just simply because of the size! Mine had the date wheel issue, Rolex service centre in London sorted it.

If I didn't have a Seamaster 300m I would probably get the BB58 Black because that watch is one of the closest things to a vintage 60's Submariner I can find. Not a massive fan of the new Blue BB58.

I’m with you - still don’t own a Rolex piece, but I live my North Flag, and the Black Bay Bronze comes higher on my wishlist than any Rolex offerings. The Heritage Advisor might also be a little higher on my list.

I'm more interested in other Swiss watches in general. My last six purchases were non-Rolex. Not sure why, but Rolex as a brand just hasn't excited me in a while. Feel like my SD43 is just about the perfect watch so I don't need anything else from the brand. I enjoy Tudor but it's Omega that has really got me excited about watches again. Amazing brand and so many great choices. Not looking to add any Rolex until maybe when I retire. Considering and DJ-to-DD upgrade to celebrate retiring. We'll see.

I am too, Tudor has much more creative license than Rolex. Sometimes they nail it, sometimes it doesn't sing to me but that's what makes it interesting. I'd like to see some Pelagos updates personally, that green one looks great!

And yes there are some who will always hate on Tudor because it doesn't say Rolex on the dial. I always say if Rolex released the Pelagos under their name it would be hyped to no end with a huge markup and 3 mile long wait lists. I also really enjoy when people on this forum knock the quality of modern Tudor watches and I see Rolex watches with folded steel bracelets and stamped tuna can clasps in their collection. Modern Rolex is definitely higher quality than modern Tudor...it should be at double the (retail) price!!!

If it wasn't for the Daytona, the answer may be yes. Otherwise I'm a huge Tudor fan.

Tudor is where Rolex used to be, An accessible quality watch, and buyers buy them for honest reasons.

When did you last see someone post 3 paragraphs on the story of the first scratch on their Tudor, and should they get it laser welded or request a new case?

Found a Heritage BB 79230N for a great deal - on Chrono 24 back in July...and the honeymoon is still in full swing. It's my daily.

I wouldn't say more interested, but Tudor has piqued my interest after picking up a BB58. I find myself looking at their watches (and other brands) because they're readily available. Love wearing my BB58 and I am considering picking it up in blue or going with the heritage.

I bought the BB58 blue earlier this month and haven't taken it off since.

The size at 39mm is perfect for me, unlike most of the YUGE 6 digit offerings

I find the the Tudor I have to be more interesting that the Rolex I can’t get. I’m still in the honeymoon period of this LHD, but I can honestly say that I love this watch as much or more than my SMP300. Hopefully soon I’ll have a Rolex from which a proper interest comparison can be made.

I love my Rolex watches and I love my Tudor watches. Heck, I even love my Timex watches.

When I bought my first Rolex in 2008, I don't think there was a single Tudor that rung my bell, but then, things began to change.

This is not the best shot and I had to crop out the Rolex I sold, but I think the Tudor watches look right at home with their Rolex brethren.

To each his own.

I'd love to see Tudor release a new chrono with a thinner case profile and inhouse movement... the current chronograph is very attractive and certainly tempting, but I can't get past that crazy thickness.
