I’d go DD….in whatever metal and size configuration you like most.

Any thoughts on the aforementioned models or suggestions for others?
Pespi météorite or DD. Both are special in their own way. Skip the hulk (it's all hype, nothing special about it) and smurf (if it's your one and only Rolex)

If you travel a lot GMT.
If you're more sporty - Sub
If you want some extra shine - DD

I have two of the three above and they're both pretty damn awesome. The wg sub is pretty tough to beat though. The blue is awesome, it's discontinued, the heft, and add in the glidelock = pretty great combo.

I'd say get a Hulk, but since it is a personal milestone, I think you should only buy if NOS. That is still special.

Whatever you do, buy new. Don't buy preowned. Make it yours.

Nothing says milestone better than a DD, IMO...but with the meteorite dial.

The watches you mentioned are all distinctly different. Depending on how big the milestone is, would there be a possibility to own all three pieces? Having owned a WG sub it’s a beautiful piece but very impractical because of its weight. I mean it’s very uncomfortable. Also having owned a WG gmt I can say it’s much more comfortable and easy to wear. Me personally if I had the choice of those three pieces I would go with the Hulk. But that’s just me I’ve been lusting after that piece for years. Eventually I will get one.

How is it possible for the WG GMT to be more comfortable than the sub when the sub has glidelock?
For me once I have the WG sub in the right glidelock setting it's fantastic
