Depends on the collection.

The 6 digits are solid, and so well built. They do lack the charm of the 5 digits and are also very shiny.

I’d go for a none nos 5 digit, get atleast one more insert and add the other bracelet over time before wearing the heck out of it.

The neo vintage are so much cooler for me.

Have to agree on this one. I actually tried both IRL and the charm on 5 digit pepsi was just incomparable

Good arguments for either reference in general, but that’s too much money for that 16710. I’m not a big NOS guy myself though, since I wear my watches.

^^and there is the fly in the ointment because as soon as you wear the NOS, it takes the largest hit if that matters compared to a gently worn ceramic GMT.

Is it? I thought it was a pretty decent price for NOS with full stickers.

For a NOS it may be a fine price, not sure. Haven’t checked the 16710 NOS market.

My point was, I don’t care to pay any premium for NOS since I wear my watches and the moment you wear it, the NOS value is essentially gone.

Also, allegedly NOS, I am a bit suspicious of some NoS claims.

I think it is a killer price and would go with the 16710. God is not making anymore of them.

Op, they are both great either one but they fit /wear differently for sure, I like the new reference. Try them both on are see which you prefer. Then make a decision.

Cheers,

16710 all the way. Classic, not flashy, not bulky.

What would you do in this situation?.

- 16710 Pepsi New Old Stock with full stickers, Serif Bezel, Full-set (Around $15K-16K)
- 126710 Pepsi, Full-set (Around $19K-20K)

These are two different watches with $3K-4K price gap.
I really love both versions, but can't make a decision
Do everything you can to handle these watches in person, as for all their similarities they will look, wear, and feel quite differently.

After doing something similar myself I decided the premium for the modern 6 digit reference Pepsi was worth it.

My vote is for the 16710 but I don't like the price.

16710. They're not making any more of them - and IMHO, Rolex never did it better

5 digit but a non NOS variant. There are plenty of nicely polished ones, I have bought a supposed NOS Kermit, and later on realised that it was not NOS, do not buy those from dealers unless you can verify its entire ownership history.
