I buy at least 5 rolex watches a week I have personally looked at the clone movement it would fool a handful of people. If any one would like to see pics of a clone movement to know what to look out for message me i would be glad to help out. Hate to see people getting burned by these clones. A few jewelry stores here in my city have purchased them thinking that it was an authentic rolex even after opening the watch. Be careful

I'm wondering where ole BoxCar Willy ran off to after getting owned in this thread. Dude pulled a disappearing act once the experts weighed in and then refused to lay down his shovel. Instead he rented a backhoe and worked it overtime. He's prolly off remilling his calendar ring teeth while oiling the kanooter valve. Right after that its usually good to replace the muffler bearings and change the blinker fluid. What a tool.......hurry back now ya hear?

This specific watch did not fool anyone it has stamps were they are not supposed to be this one was a clear fake I just wanted to show the clone movement.

That movement is no clone of a 3135. It says 3135 but on a real Rolex 3135 the location of the 3135 in gold is on the winding bridge. This one has it on the other side. The whole auto winding bridge looks nothing like a Rolex one. Also the balance wheel bridge is a joke. Is there a serial number on it? It may fool people.

There was no serial number. The reason I posted the pic is I have ran into a ton of fakes and normally there gold inside or have no rolex markings. I decided to post the pic just to inform people they are getting better so be careful buying. I'm sure there are better fakes out there that I have not seen.

So I had a guy try and sell me 2 z series subs I thought it was strange he had two of the exact same watch they ended up beeing fake but I was pretty surprised the quality it would probably fool some jewelers. Just wanted to warn buyers they are getting better these are the pictures of the movement watch had all proper markings inside and out.

I'm still waiting for one of the watch bus/blogs/etc. that actually has the resources to pay for good journalism do a story about the current state of fake watches. With prices getting up there, 3-D printing and all kinds of resources the fakes are getting pretty nasty. And with so many people willing to buy an expensive watch online and sight unseen, who knows what's actually out there.

Cajancapital. That movement is a 3135. The case might be fake but that movement is a 3135. The fakes do not have the balance wheel down. They have great fakes but they can't for some reason copy the whole single adjustment balance wheel. They use the old fashion adjustment. What do you think Venessa? Am I ill informed? I do a lot of pawn shop visits being a detective. Guys tell me all the time that the fakes are getting better and better. If they can get that good Cajancapital where they clone the balance bridge and wheel and get it to work they will be pretty much a 3135. They use cheap stuff. I saw one where the ceramic reversing wheels were just wheels painted red. LOL. Anyway. Good luck and stay safe. These guys are always trying to get ahead of the game.

This fake I checked out and compared side by side with an authentic sub and the only things that looked a little off were the crown on the side and also on the fake the crown that is laser etched in the crystal was much easier to see on the fake it stood out more. I did some research and they sell for around 1250.00 also when looping the dial the lettering had a couple small flaws. A rolex tech was actually the one who showed me personally the parts that were wrong. But I did find out the guy selling them sold a few to some jewelry stores and pawn shops all the same year and model. just wanted to share with you guys what to watch out for I'm sure they will get it perfect soon.

I've actually thought about doing this myself, I've never found a review of someone comparing one of the new super fakes to a real watch. I think a lot of people would get a good read out of it and find it scary what the fakers are doing these days!

Wow. That is scary Ccjaccapital. I would have bet money that that was a 3135 movement. I was told that china has it all down but the balance bridge and wheel. So now that they do all bets are off. I buy parts all the time and put rolexes together. Been doing it for year. 100% watches. As a hobby. There were a few asian copies and I would stay away but I could tell which they were because of that balance bridge. Wow. Now its making me wonder. I brought a waterlogged YM from a pawnshop during a visit. I was helping out a burglary case. I saw a YM and the guy had a $1000 price tag on it. I told him he can't sell fake rolexes. He said that it was real just someone left the crown open and water got in and the movement is no good. It was also missing the bezel. I gave him $500 for it. He took it. I sent the band to Michael young and he made it look great. Now the case was fine. I brought a 3135 on eBay. Crystal and hands here from Viper. It is getting done right now. I hope I don't get a call telling me that the movement isn't real! All I can say is WOW.

I've posted an informative post quite some time ago regarding this movements and people here barked at me with the typical "we don't discuss fakes"...
I personally believe in being proactive, and knowing about this things beforehand always helps.
