My AD in Bangalore, India said an increase of 6-12% across models expected in February.

1 Feb price rise 2016 in Euroland

Just to confirm that UK Rolex site shows no price increase as far as I can see.

But Rolex Germany is now listing prices that match German price list that was circulated a few weeks ago. 8.100 € for 116710BLNR. With the recent dropping of the pound against the Euro that is going to make the UK cheaper for some models.

So buying used / unworn new or mint via UK based companies is going to be the way to go. Bargains to be had but only if your quick.

I just checked the Rolex website from UK and there are no increases shown for the 2 watches I checked £4300 for explorer 1 and £8950 for two tone sub. So no increases shown by 1PM UK time. The explorer is same price as when I purchased in July 2012

Feb 1st just don't make sense. If it were real, then it is targeting Chinese New Year and Chinese tourist due to CNY long holiday.

I stopped in at my local AD in Southern California on Saturday evening and they were not aware of a price increase. Seeing as the first is this morning I would have thought if there was one they would have known it by then.

Just walked into my local dealer in Canada and price increase of 18% was just announced at 3:00 to compensate for drop in Canadian dollar

But I've heard from an AD that is coming so it must be true

There were no increase in the UK. Europe 5% apparently. With the £ loosing ground to the $ buy quite a bit and a little to the €, probably as cheap to buy in the UK for us Brits now.

Does this likely mean the UK price will also see an increase?
I'm looking to buy my first Rolex soon but still need time to decide

5% up in EU. It may be more interesting to buy right now in Swiss or later in UK - as the UK will plausibly leave the EU this year in a referendum.

Not sure why BC would have increases because there is no price increase so far in Ontario (as of 5:30pm Feb 2nd).

Not necessarily, no.

Watch the GBP exchange rate vs Swiss Franc, for one major driver of price increases. They come with no regularity: very few in the late 1990s at all, but many increases between 2008 and 2012....then nothing more to date.

Metal prices and currency movements give rise to greatest adjustments, but when such markets reverse the practice has been to maintain prices unchanged for years until inflation catches up.

Pretty sure if you do that, everyone here will end up with a BLNR.

We don't have price increases because our price is allready sky high.other countrys that have increased are way way cheaper than uk.so they are increasing all countries to meet uk prices.

I think "versatile1" was trying to joke - he included a "just kidding" emoticon in his post.

Other resources have posted that they were told by ADs that there was not a Canadian price increase on Feb 1, but a price increase is expected soon for Canada.

Price increases

My AD told me that pricing is solely the decision of the franchise's owner. They can charge as little (the famous 25% off manager's specials) or as much as they wish and change at any time. I bought my Daytona from them because they warned of "a price raise next week" and I fell for their tomfuckery only to find that on my next visit 2 months later, they had dropped the price $1000. They just revealed to me that they will be dropping prices come June 16

Did the Swiss-Franc price go up for watches within Switzerland?
