OP, congrats and I think that the SD43 looks perfect on your wrist. In the photos, it appears that your wrist is quite flat, which helps with this particular reference. Welcome to the club!

OP. The glidelock adjustment is almost two links equivalent, so if it’s fully extended and snug, add a full link back into the 12 o’clock side and you’ll be good to go for overall length.

How many links do you have each side just now? And are you happy with the clasp position?

I think this sounds probably perfect. I'm at 6 on the 12 side and 4 1/2 on the 6 side. If 4 1/2 and 4 is too long or goes too far into the glide lock, try the next step down at 4 and 3 1/2, but always try to keep more links at 12 than you have at 6 if possible. Make sure when you get it snug by adjusting the glide lock, you take it off, close the clasp, and hold it so you can see if the clasp is relatively centered under the watch. If that is the case you are good to go. If not add/remove links accordingly. That 1/2 link is a great tool for getting the bracelet just the way you want it. Also when done the end of the bracelet on the 12 side should fall close to the center of the glide lock adjustment so you have room to move it in either direction. Good luck!

I'd suggest not making a 'final' sizing for a few weeks;,the 43mm sort of mentally 'beds-in' and you adjust. My partner can't tell it's any larger than my 40mm. It wears well on the wrist. I now prefer it just slightly loose. Slightly.

Exactly my experience as well. My family couldn't tell the difference compared to my GMT.

At first I went with "tighter than other watches", found it to be restrictive. Now wear it slightly looser and it feels great

This SD is heavier than a Sub, yes, but still a light-weight compared to all the 220g PM pieces
