I also own a hulk and a z blue ,but I couldn't bring myself to part with those watches. I have regrets about the watches that I traded in the past.

Congrats. Looks great.

Now, the eternal question - to run the chrono? Or, not?

Leave the pushers unscrewed and run as often as you like

Funny you say that - I decided to leave my Chrono hand at 6 o’clock so it doesn’t ruin the view of the writing on the dial :)

As there's no hope that the price will be dropping soon I would say you get it now, you watched the price from $18K and it's $50k already.

Congratulations OP.

Is the panda at 50k more or less silly/stupid/outrageous than the JM daytona at 146k?

DavidSW just sold a JM in less than 24 hours which his listed for 146k!!!

What’s everyone’s thoughts on JM at its current market price?

I do tend to leave mine running

But is it really ok to leave the pushers unscrewed? I shower, hot tub, and swim in mine. Surely they should be screwed for those activities?

The screws don't affect the water resistance, they just prevent you from accidentally activating them.

They are just doorstops to prevent accidental pressing under water. They don't seal the case or anything like that.

Congrats OP! It's a fantastic ref.. easy to wear with anything and slim enough for a chrono to avoid desks Altho I have a ton of wear marks on mine but I love it.

To be honest, as long as there are buyers that have the funds but lack the patience to wait for the opportunity to purchase a material item at a reasonable price the market will not crash. I personally waited 3 years for this, buying it last week from my AD at retail.

Im thinking of trading my BLNR and 116520 black dial Daytona, for the ceramic panda
any thoughts?

Good trade I say. Just offloaded my 116520 myself. BLNR can probably buy again later down the line as there are tons out there.

Congrats to the OP for pulling the trigger and getting what you want. I commend anybody willing to pay that much over sticker. Enjoy it and wear it in good health.

If you can afford it, do it. Daytona Ceramic is my grail watch. But I've been priced out. I should've bought when they were $17k, then $25k. I would never pay todays prices.

Yeah, no box or papers and it’s Scratched. I wouldn’t pay 39 for that one

Didn’t check last month but have prices for decent pieces gone down, with box and papers? On Chrono it looks like maybe they came down by a k. Maybe.

What about our other forum trusted sellers??? Are they high as well? Reason I ask is 2 pre owned Panda’s (2017 and 2019 full box sets) just sold for around $$51.5-$52k this week.
