214270 or 114270. The extra large sub crown always bothered my wrist. 214270 is supremely comfortable. You'll forget it's even on wrist.

I can't wrap my head around you losing a lot of money on a Sub C. Was it damaged?

Example: A brand new 114060 at an AD $7500 msrp, most states you add sales tax, about 8% here in CA, so now you are looking at $8100ish out the door. The going rate for these on the forums is somewhere in the $6-7 range. So you have lost $1-2K. To most people that would be a lot of money. |

You bought a 114270 Watch + Bracelet and then got a 77200 Clasp (with EasyLink) and fit it into the 114270 Bracelet? This lets you wear the 36mm Explorer yet get the benefit of the EasyLink feature? |

214270 smokes it.
Much better than the. 114060 I had - the Explorer is the only 6 digit I like, prefer 5 digit Sub/GMT |

I'm suspecting OP sold SH to a dealer...would've done better selling as private party. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |

How about a 116000 Blue 3 6 9? You can even substitute in explorer hands to make it effectively a blue 36mm explorer with updated bracelet :)

Yes, that can be done if you can source the easylink clasp assembly. In my case did the test as had at the same time the 114270 and 214270, but did not ended up keeping the easylink clasp on the 114270 as swap it back before selling the 214270. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

sub explorer
I wore a 16610 for 10 years on my 7.5” wrists and traded it
for a 214270 Mk2. Even with fairly good size wrists I still notice the difference in daily wear over two years later. I agree a 114270 would fit better on 6” wrist. The new bracelets are great but I don’t think the old SEL link oyster is as bad as some people feel. The small clasp on the 114270 I would guess is much less noticeable than the new clasps on 214270. My 214270 has mostly ruined my desire for other watches and I am/was a long time sufferer of the watch obsession. |
