Interesting insight from interview with Jean-Claude Biver

Never saw an interview with him until his recent one with Teddy B and I have to say it was great to see his passion for watches and insight into some of the topics, ie smart watches and grey dealers. I thought in particular his comments about how the Swiss industry needs to change the model from selling watches, monitoring the sale to avoid the Grey Dealers was pretty interesting.

Just watched this video. JCB is such an interesting guy - always fun to watch him. I loved the hodinkee interview with him. This one was great too. Teddy has been landing a lot of solid interviews lately

Love this guys passion and zest for life. His turnaround of Blancpain I use constantly as an example to people that work under me on how to face adversity.

You should watch his Talking Watches episode. It's easily one of the best ones.

Exactly! An example of why running against the crowd, instead of with it, can yield the best results.

He's had numerous good interviews, but the one richest in entrepreneurship and horology might have to be this one:

It’s been out for a while but is still a great listen. Somewhere at the half point he talks about a very familiar marketing theory that is very relevant. Many forum members will benefit from listening to this interview but I fear they would rather squabble over their ego or dwell on despondency about not getting immediate gratification.
