question re: caliber swap
am looking into an RO 4100 that's recently come back from clearwater.
learned that the movement has been swapped for a more recent caliber - ie, it is no longer the original caliber that came with this model...which i believe is c2123. but it was recently done this summer....and now backed with 2yr AP warranty. good or bad?? |

Depends what you are calibrating for. If you want original everything then certainly a pass but if you want an updated movement then sure why not.
What if it was a used car that you were looking to buy, would it change your answer? Not much help but my $0.02 |
