question re: caliber swap

am looking into an RO 4100 that's recently come back from clearwater.
learned that the movement has been swapped for a more recent caliber - ie, it is no longer the original caliber that came with this model...which i believe is c2123.

but it was recently done this summer....and now backed with 2yr AP warranty.

good or bad??

Depends what you are calibrating for. If you want original everything then certainly a pass but if you want an updated movement then sure why not.

What if it was a used car that you were looking to buy, would it change your answer?

Not much help but my $0.02
