Rolex watches on Home Shopping circa 1994?

Alright, I acknowledge this is not likely to be a lively thread. Sorry.

Last night I was remembering watching a home shopping show, very late at night (I was in Boston at the time). Lisa Robertson was live on tv, along with a guy, broadcasting from Tennessee and selling pre-owner Rolex watches.

I remember the watches being on lazy susans, and they would hold up a watch and describe it. They would hold up the watches so potential buyers, who were calling in live, could see how much stretch the bracelets had.

This would have been 1994-1995. At the time, I could never have expected to ever afford a Rolex, but I used to enjoy watching it all the same.

Does anyone remember this too? I’ve looked for recordings of these shows, but they probably don’t even exist. I would love to revisit these shows, to see what models were selling and the prices they were selling for.

Looking back, I think watching those middle-of-the-night home shopping for Rolex shows was a step toward one day becoming a collector. Thanks.
