Tudor Prince Date+Day with a touch of History

I just picked this watch up from an auction. The seller had absolutely zero clue what he had. The name on the original paper is Sidney Mobell, a world famous jeweler from my hometown of SF who made the most expensive MONOPOLY bored in the world. Some of his work is at the Smithsonian. So happy to add this to my collection not only is it vintage from 1985-1990 with the rolex tags but the original owner adds more history on top. Let alone it's in pretty good condition for it's age.

My next question is the legitimacy of the watch. What do you guy's think ?

Also what is that white thing or flaking on the "11 o'clock baton marker" ? And the scratch on the day window between monday - tuesday.

Also the date and day doesn't flip at midnight I would say 10 min. Before midnight.

It looks right to me. Definitely a well loved watch. Take it to Rolliworks and find out if it needs a service. Someone will correct me if I am wrong but those white dots next to the hour markers are tritium dots. For night/ darkness time legibility.

Yes, those are tritium dots (and tritium in the hands), though they will have lost their glow long ago. As you presumably know no service history, good advice to have Rolliworks or LA Watchworks service it - The tritium looks to be in good shape, and moisture/humidity intrusion can deteriorate it, so you want the gaskets doing their job.
