help determining if Tudor ranger I want is authentic, pics included

hello, I found a good deal on a Tudor ranger which is one of the tudors I like, but I don't know if it is authentic as I have no history with the brand. I posted some pics and was hoping someone more knowledgable could tell me yes or no.

thanks

Don't know if it's authentic but it's too bad they used it for pounding in fence posts.

Here's a bunch here to check if your price is good for the condition.

Look authentic to me (I have one). It's well used though, so hopefully that's reflected in the price you are being offered. They are not expensive in general (ok, that's clearly relative but hopefully you get my drift).

I have a Ranger, pics can be deceiving but from what I see it looks legit.

This bad boy is listed on eBay with a starting bid of $1300. I would run, not walk away from it.

Why should I run?

Seems like it looks legit right? I guess 1.3 may be high for the condition. I’ve been wanting a black bay 41, ranger, or Pelagos from Tudor so I thought I could get lucky.

Thanks so much for the feedback. It seems like consensus is, given the condition, it’s not worth it?

Sadly from the pics the condition looked worn but not horrible. It can be hard to tell sometimes.

I just think the price is high for that watch in that condition.

Take it from a guy who knows from experience: Don't but the cheapest example of a watch because thats all you can afford at the moment. Save for a great example of a what you want.

That Ranger looks legit to me, also looks like it’s been run through the gauntlet, multiple times. If you can get it at $1300 on the dot that would be fine. A used one in excellent condition often goes for ~$1850 on the classifieds here from trusted sellers.

$1,300 sounds high for an example in that condition. If you're in love with the Ranger, I'd save a little more and get one in better condition. They're not hard to come by.

I sold mine last year in excellent condition/full set for $1650. Mine had the strap not the bracelet but my point is good examples aren't that much more than $1300.

The watch looks OK in my opinion.any used watch put under the prying eyes of a loupe will amplify any slight flaws

Thanks for the input guys,
Some unexpected medical bills got my expenses in a tizzy and I saw this as something I could still swing but ya, condition is beyond rough. Prolly just hold out a month or two until I can swing a proper set without the notable imperfections

Thanks for the help

Will do. Ya, I got behind w some medical bills and saw this as in my budget and got excited. I agree tho, better to wait until a legit model comes and splurge on that. Sometimes I’ll get down from everything and be more inclined to try to make my goal watches which is prolly not the best thing, as I should stay positive and search for a better representation of my favs.

Thanks for the time and input, truly.
Bless you and Best

I had one and bought it used on Ebay with papers and box for $1600. It looks legit to me.

Looks like an honest unpolished watch. I would buy it, as long as it has the full set.
