After i get done weeping over the current prices of vintage Rolex watches and realizing I can’t ever duplicate my collection again, i might go out and get an Exp II 16570 and call it a day with Rolex and start collecting vintage Seiko and Omega.

Knowing what I know now and if all are available, It would be a toss up between the skyD blue dial and the ceramic pepsi

My first Rolex was the Polar. If I was starting from scratch today I'd still buy the Polar.

Just the thought of starting over makes me think I'd only buy one and one I've never owned would be a Kermit. I like the fact it's a 5 digit Sub with a maxi dial. If not than a 116710ln

My first Rolex would be a Submariner, because Rolex=Sub.

I really can't say what I would do today, if I were buying my first Rolex.

If I had it all to do all over again, given the same choices, I don't think I'd change a thing.

It's been a fun ride.

This was my first and I still love it.

If I am in doubt, this is my go to and would be my first choice.

Or in all gold.

Wouldn’t that be a 1675? The story was that he got it from his dad who fought in Vietnam that would put the watch in the 1970’s.
