Rolex will service any watch that is authentic, even if you send it in on a leather strap, or without one at all.

This makes sense, like it's illegal or you'd be shunned to put your watch on a leather strap! Mismatched Rolex bracelet parts, that sounds like a no- no. Too bad if they wouldn't make it correct with what it only needs instead of a whole new bracelet.
