Rolex Situation in Naples, Florida

Hey all,

A few months ago I saw that Tourneau was under renovation at the Waterside Shops. Also, DeBeers (right next to Tourneau) closed for and on the directory it just said "Rolex". It looks like Tourneau is opened up now so I was wondering if any of you guys have been there yet. Has Tourneau just expanded or was a Rolex Botique opened up separately? I know a few of you frequent Naples so I figured I'd ask. I know Bigham Jewlers is still there and when I'm up there in March I will check out both locations. Thanks for any information!

Was in Naples several weeks ago (great watch spotting) ... believe it’s just an expanded Tourneau.

FYI - Stopped by Bigham too and did not enjoy my experience there!

I was there over the weekend and the Big T was not open yet. Last time we talked to the staff they said it was an expansion of the store - I think maybe a special room/section for Rolex - not 100% sure.

We haven't stopped in Bigham for years.

Thanks for the information! So should I steer clear of Bigham? I bought my OP from Tourneau so will probably stay with them anyways.

Sounds good, that's what I was hoping for. How was your experience with Bigham? Thanks!

Bigham is fine - Dan is always great to talk watches with when in town. He's much more knowledgeable than anyone at T.

Maybe just my experience then... I know it’s a reflection of the market conditions but I don’t particularly appreciate being Pretty Woman’ed. Especially when I own 4 Rolex and a PP. Guess they just took me for a silly 28 year old sorority girl ;)

Agreed. My wife would be pissed off too.

I will be at waterside this weekend, I will check the status. May stop by Binghams as well, however they were never helpful in the past. Like others have said; pretty cold in there.
