I'd get the Rootbeer. The subs are easier to come by.

I've seen a lot of people on here say this, and I get where they're coming from, but I'm grateful they went with a standard black dial. I think a sunburst chocolate or rootbeer colored dial would have been too much, and made the watch overly flashy. They achieved the perfect balance with the CHNR. It's quite versatile (moreso than you might expect), plus the rose gold hands and indices look great against the black dial.

Love the new Rootbeer but have always thought the old rootbeer was one of the ugliest Rolexes. I don’t mean to offend anyone in the vintage camp ... just not for me.
