Why DJ w/ diamond dials have hands w/o lumes

I just realize the DJ that I bought my wife for her birthday 2 months ago have no lumes at all. I can see why they wouldn't put lumes in the marker as they are diamonds and putting lumes next to diamonds might look weird, but why doesn't the hand comes with lumes? What's the rational? If they glow, at least you can tell the time approximately in relation to the watch.

I believe the reason being lume makes the watch more sporty and with a diamond dial the look your hunting is elegance? Idk

I wonder if the hands can be changed to hands from another model with lume. Will Rolex allow that. Will be quite cool.

Sir, this is Mother Rolex speaking. You are looking for another watch, not a DJ.

The OP's hands' lume is lame. Might as well just enjoy the uninterrupted gold.

Yes, it wouldn't meet with the mothship's standards of what's currently deemed to be right and proper.

While elegance may be the reason why they usually don't come with lame, I am thankful that I can look at my sub and see what time it is without having to turn on a light. But then again, it is a sub and not a DJ.
