Hey guys, some of you are aware of this, but these bastards are becoming more cunning. Don't click on any link that they'll send, even if they look as a rolexforums.com link.

Watch yourselves out there.

Yep, we can’t say it enough, DO NOT click on those links. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT, Don’t do it, no matter what just don’t!

If your account becomes compromised you could cost other members thousands possibly tens of thousands of dollars. Don’t be that guy.

If your account is compromised your account will be banned and it’s a real pain in the ass for the forum administrator to clear your account and reinstate your account.

Good advice but I have to ask, why would anyone ever click on a link that was sent to them by a stranger?

Unfortunately, only just saw this post regarding this prick—and hastily did what I shouldn’t have (clicked) beforehand in an email he sent me.

What precautions should I take at this point? Any moderator advice or assistance is much appreciated!

Did you enter your password at the fake login page?

If so, they will list scams in your name. We'd need to take action.

Appreciate the info, guys! Just a thoughtless moment—I do actually know better, but just reacted without thinking in this instance. Since my old PW isn’t lost, per se, what’s the easiest way to go about it here on the forums? May have passed over it, but didn’t see a specific procedure to quickly change an existing pw for a new one.

When you’re logged in, just check your username in the upper right corner to see its correct.

Then click User CP > Edit Email & Password > then enter your existing password and your choice of a new one. Voilà
