HELP!!! Need to know about a datejust 16013
Question on Datejust 16013! Need help!
I purchased a vintage datejust 16013. Everything seems spot on. The only thing I’m concerned about is the jubilee bracelet with the Rolex crown on the clasp is 14k two toned yellow gold while the bezel is 18k yellow gold. Is it odd that the the bracelet and bezel are 2 different purities? Was/is it normal for Rolex to put together a watch like this? Is it normal for it to be mixed that way? I purchased from a watch store on eBay with a 100% positive reviews and they have a 30 day no hassle return policy. So I’m not too worried. But with that said I am a total noob. So any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I posted this last night but nobody commented. Trying again. |

On the bracelet there should be a datestamp and the serial number on the watch case should give you a more concrete answer. AFAIK Rolex shouldn’t mix 14k and 18k. Here’s a link for the clasp year code and serial year code to help you in your search:
