Ref#126334 Discounts yet?
are these still going for well over retail?
Has anyone been able to get this reference number discounted or at least just at the suggested retail price $9,450? Or are these still going for well over that on the grey market/secondary market, etc? My local dealer just called me and said they just received one but every time I buy from them, they give me some type of discount but on this one they couldn't so i'm a little reluctant to rush in to get it. I'm just curious if i should go ahead and pick it up at retail if these are still scarce and in high demand? I don't mind waiting, I just hate paying full price...especially when every other rolex i've bought from them came with a discount. FYI - this is blue, roman numerals, fluted, and jubilee bracelet. |

Even if they weren't high in demand, a salesperson is only going to make what, $475 on the sale? That's fairly tight, considering that a shop will only sell a handful of watches each day.

Just paid a visit to my AD yesterday and was offered one and a Chnr. I always got a discount and recieved 15% off an SS 41 Wimbledon a year ago. I didn't get into price, if it were smooth/oyster I would have but I have a feeling it would be like pulling teeth unless I ordered one and paid in full. They will never hit the case and was told he has others waiting for the call. I'd say on today's market you might have to bite the bullet.
