Mine's first-gen, bought brand new. Mum and dad have their own Rolexes, which they bought new too then.

Like many others, mine is the 1st in the family. Hopefully not the last!

My father has a rolex cellini geneve from 30-40yrs ago...however, its questionable as to its authenticity (it was a relative's daily wearer but my old man has never wore it).......need to get it checked out... see link:http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ighlight=trash

First generation here. My seven year old girl who is a real traditionalist and doesn't like changes has put a claim on my first Rolex, a 13yrs old old Black face EXP2. My ten year old girl loves my new white face Daytona and will eventually get this one.

1st generation for me. I own one now and hope to own more in the future. At least three....one for each of our boys as an inheritance for their kids.

In the meantime, I hope to start our boys off with their own when each of their respective educations are complete.

At present, our oldest son is in graduate school and has his eye on a Sub No Date. I'll see if we just can't make that little dream come true when he graduates.

Icon14 Family rolexes

My dad bought a learner Rolex (Tudor) in the mid fifties and an Air King in the late fifties. I still have the Air King. I bought a Milgauss in 1966 and a gold Sub and Lady President in 2004. Our family has had many years of exceptional service from our Rolex watches. Recommend to all.
