Rolex green Milgauss future?

What do you guys think about the Rolex green Milgauss future?

I'm picking one up tomorrow, it unbelievable that it used to be selling at premium 16k .... Now it below MSRP. How much lower do you guy think the GV will be in the coming months. I think it might be 20% below MSRP in the coming months.

I don't really like the look of the Milgauss at first, but the more I look at the pics and read about it, the more I want one.

My AD has SS black daytona and GV ... which one should I pick??
I already have a white SS daytona and always want to get another black SS daytona .... but the GV is different from my daytona and sub ... which make it top of my lists.

Is the GV a good buy at $US5.9k no tax at a local AD, I'm thinking of $US5.7 which I don't think he will do it now. but I don't really care about that $200 different... if I like the watch when I see it tomorrow.

GV owners please share your thoughts and love on the GV.

Thanks

Good day Finn

Mate, if the AD has the Black Daytona 116250. Go for it. They are rare as hen's teeth and you wont see another one for a while.

Milgauss GV is available a plenty. Price coming down 20% is anybody's guess. I would love for that to happen.

The $5.9 ~ 5.7 range is very cheap. In Japan they are heaps more.

Good luck you lucky guy.

I think the green Milgauss is here to stay. Now in relation to which one you are going to choose just try them both on and get the one that you like the most on your wrist. Personally I would not choose the Daytona if i had another one (i am not a Daytona guy anyway). Good luck with your decision!

For the SS daytona, that what I thought Last week when I passed one and yesterday, he told me he is getting 4 this week .... I already paid premium for my first ss daytona .... can't take another 20% below MSRP blow in my head

For the miglauss I will try for 5.7k no tax tomorow even it goes down to 20% in the coming months ... it not that much different at $500 to $700.

again, it fun to bargain with ADs as that is not possible a year back for a ss daytona and GV.

My dream is to get a new SS black Daytona 20% below MSRP at local AD in the coming months.... but if that happens we all know how bad the economy is.

I always think that the best way to decide which watch to buy, it is to wear them.
Sometimes it happens that a watch do you think is good for you, once weared, doesn't give to you any good vibes and feelings; and of course sometimes it happens the opposite too.
So my suggestion for you is to wear both of them and then decide.

That is the reason the black daytona is not next on my list, as I have the white dial... and I prefer the white over the black.

The GV is not a watch.... love in the first sight on the pics, I hope it will be when I see it tomorrow.

I still like my SS sub date the most for everyday wear. The Daytona & GV are only for weekends.

That happened to me on the SS daytona, I always want a Black dial but when I wear them both on my hands side by side.... I picked the white dial.

I love the TT GMT II looks, but when I put it on, It's just doesn't suit me. when trying on the new SS SD, it just too big.

I tried the black Milgauss yesterday, it's just not appealing to me, but I hope the GV will.

Thanks

Daytona for me too.

The crisis will be long, I would think a year from now, the GV will be had for a discount. I don't think it will be as strong seller as a Daytona SS or a Sub LV.

ADs are scared sales are way down. A watch is an extra people are scare about keeping jobs not $6,000 Swiss watches. More for us.

Thanks guys for the advices

I was at my AD today, and I tried on the GV and SS Black Daytona that came in this morning.

I'm in love with the GV when I first saw it today.

I tried to like the black dial Daytona but after putting it on with my white dial side by side, I passed again on the black dial.

The GV goes home with me.

And yet some are still arguing that the SS Black Daytona is still as rare as ever in another forum. I believe it will be selling at MRSP or less very soon, if not already now.

Great choice. Should start planning for the black Daytona now. Ha ha ha ...

Congrats!

This is the second SS black Daytona My AD offered to me at MSRP in a week. He still have three coming in this week ... and I don't think he has problem selling them.

He is trying to be nice and let me have it first, but I just don't like the black dial on me ..... I told him I'll take one if he gives me 20% off and the answer is no

I don't think the AD will like the SS daytona to fall below MSRP and anyone can walk in and get one ..... I don't want that too as I paid premium for my daytona a year ago .... But with the current economy ... I think we will see it with a discount.

I never thought I can get the GV below MSRP a year ago, I will pay 10k for a GV last year. I don't think we can really put a price tags on a Rolex or anything that can put a smile on our face, Priceless.
