Seeking opinions
Good morning,
The current collection consists of a stainless white dial Breitling Chronomat from 2005, a stainless Sub C from 3/2016 (new) and a stainless DJII , white stick with fluted bezel from 3/2017 (new). Sub C gets the most wrist time. The DJII gets the most comments as its a little blingy. I am looking to add something new and potentially different to the mix but am slightly torn. Batman, Batgirl, Pepsi, etc would all go well but I am not interested in getting in bidding wars over MSRP. Bluesy is great but a little much for me. The DJ 41 is pretty small on my wrist. Value is important but not the only factor. The Yachmaster platinum with the gray dial has always been a favorite. There are a few available on the preowned market but this is similar to my current 3 in terms of appearance. The DJII Wimbeldon is a striking piece that can be had for nice value as a pre owned. TT Sub with a black dial is also one of my favorites. My AD has a new one that, if I were to get it, doing so before 1-2-20 price increase is the smart move. I fashioned myself as a knowledgeable collector until I started browsing TRF and realized I am a novice. What if anything to add? Any advice is appreciated. |

Nice modest collection u got there. I am in similar boat itching to add another piece for myself. I have been looking outside of the Rolex zone and taking a serious interest with the AP brand specifically the Royal Oak series! I don’t have any input but i do wish you luck and satisfaction on your next piece!

YM with blue accents is beautiful...AP Royal Oak/Offshore would be a good one to look at as well!

I would say YM or Wimbledon, both are fantastic watches. Good luck with the hunt!

From those you proposed I think the YM would be great and actually more of a divergence than the others. Of course, there are some other tremendous watches from other brands.

Welcome to the forum I’m also in Philly.
One of the SA at my AD had a bluesy on the last time I was in and I always thought of them as a little much as well but it actually looks really good in person. |

You can't go wrong with a TT Sub.

Nice collection you have. How about a Speedmaster, or perhaps a Grand Seiko. Diversify a bit.
