Thoughts on Hamilton Murph Watch?

I’ve been eyeballing this watch for a while now. It looks great and I’m a fan of the movie. I just don’t like the straps. I would probably switch them to brown leather or a nylon and use it as a beater.

Thoughts on this watch?

I really liked this watch as it is a 3 hand no date, the style I like. I even got a heads up from the local Hamilton Rep of where there was one in stock with the special edition Box. Drove to San Francisco to purchase but once I saw it in person it didn't impress me. first, the strap is HORRIBLE (IMHO). secondly, the size felt too big for me, even before I purchased my OP36. I have several 41mm watches that I wear but this 42 just felt HUGE. My suggestion is fine one to try on and see how you like it.

I got one a few months ago and really like the looks of it. I have worn it a couple of times but didn't buy it as a daily. It wears big so if I was going to wear it as a beater I would probably slap a NATO on it. The strap is a beauty but it is a little stiff.

Thanks for the info. I have a small wrist so I'm concerned about it being too big. I'm curious, did you end up buying a different Hamilton Khaki?

I plan to but have not yet. And truth be told, after purchasing the OP36, Black Bay 41 and a TAG Heuer Aquaracer Caliber5 all in the last 6 months I need to slow my roll a bit

I liked it from the release images but I think it’s too large. However, try it on and if you like the feel- get it! But based on the last couple of purchases...maybe enjoy the new incomings for a bit?

Looks good; not too different from mine...the real question is how much you'll wear it?
