That’s how it is with my AD. I was told I was next on the list for another BLRO (gift for my father) and that as long as 1 of 3 people did not decided they wanted one before it comes in that it will be mine.

Today I called into the AD to ask where I am now on the waiting list ? The answer was this. "The Manager will decide on the list who she contacts. It is in No order of how long you have been on the list, she will decide".

If they expect Loyality, then they should also give it back. I was also going to buy a Tudor from them, not now.....
Most AD branches only get one to two a year max. They can never fulfil their growing Daytona lists. Some don't keep lists anymore.

AD's go by customer spending, it's that simple.

I send expensive Fortnum and Mason Christmas hampers out to my top ten customers each year. Some drop out and get replaced by others. It's not personal. It's business.

I received my usual Fortnums vouchers from a good friend this year, I prefer it over Harrods, just love the food and especially their restaurant on Jermyn St, serves the best Dover Sole and Beef Wellington.

I believe that Fraser Hart stopped playing ball with Rolex on a few issues and have lost a number of franchises as a result.

Losing the Rolex franchise is a big deal for these stores so if you can prove unethical sales practices do so.
Does anyone know what issues there were with Fraser Hart?

You get the watch you want on day 8 as their returns period is 7 days. They told me this when trying to get me to buy a PM Skydweller to get a D-Blue (D-Blue was in the safe). Shame as I have purchase history with them in that branch but they said it goes against me because I have two professional pieces without buying other brands or less desirable models so I'm "in allocation debt" to them.

I now buy elsewhere.

I’d also like know. Bought most of my watches from them and they were good to me overall. Popped in last week and was told that WoS will be retaining FH staff but that I’d have to start from scratch as my purchase history wouldn’t be carried over. Oh well, there goes my AD relationship!

I used FH quite a bit for a while but then they changed the manager 3 times in a year so everything got blown, luckily for me I'm not in the market for a SS Rolex any more.

not sure what happened but the turnover at FH especially at the store manager level seemed quite high

walked past a former FH store that used to be a Rolex AD and the large window display was replaced with Tag and Breitling with a smaller one watch display case laying empty.

sad state of affairs - looks like WofS are getting more and more importance in the UK. i hope Rolex maintain some AD diversity.

I’m guessing you’re on about the Brent Cross store? Absolute cowboys. I started off there then moved to the other side of a London. I’m done with SS Rolex too so not really fussed, I’ve got what I wanted.

The Brent Cross store is awful. I live nearby and it would be my local AD.
However I have found the staff rather rude and unhelpful.

Think Rolex needs to take SS models out of the catalogue pointless having them in when most ADs don’t sell them

I’ve been shown a ‘waiting list’ by my SA on his surface pro, it’s in excel and is endless with names. Priority will be given to high spenders and SA gets allocation pieces pending store manager/head office pre-approvals.

‘allocation debt’! I’ve heard it all now.
